‘Made of the Truth’ is based on the idea of resurrection and representing the ability to make something “ugly” into something beautiful and preserve the beauty everlastingly. The pansy is made of paper that was found in a recycle bin and connected to an actual pansy plant. During an exhibition period, the actual pansy gradually goes dry, however, the paper pansy remains “alive”.
